[Men's Basketball] Defense is Kraemer's hallmark

It didn't take Kansas Wesleyan guard Marquis Kraemer (SO/Aurora, Colo.) long to figure out what it takes to get in a basketball game and stay there.

"When I was young my coaches always used to tell me you win championships with defense," he said. "It was instilled in me at a young age, I take pride in it."

For Kraemer, playing defense helped him overcome a rather significant shortcoming in his game.
