It wasn’t a trademark performance for Liverpool in their nervy 1-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at the AMEX Stadium on Saturday.

However, there were a few players who excelled amid the dirge. Fabinho playing out of position at centre back was excellent, but it was left back Andrew Robertson who stole the show for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The former Hull City man provided more evidence, if any were needed, that he is undoubtedly the finest left back in the Premier League on current form. There really is no argument about it, Robertson’s the best.
