Hockey East suspends Vermont’s O’Neil one game for spearing incident against UMass

Hockey East announced Saturday that Vermont senior forward Conor O’Neil has been suspended for one game stemming from an incident at 14:13 of the second period on Friday, Jan. 11 at Massachusetts. On the play, O’Neil was given a five-minute major for spearing and a game misconduct. O’Neil will miss the game on Saturday, Jan.
