[Competitive Cheer] Madonna hires Vanderlaan to lead Cheer program

LIVONIA, Mich. -  Erica Vanderlaan has been tabbed to start a competitive cheer program at Madonna. Vanderlaan holds degrees from Grand Valley State University and Lamar University and spent the past several years teaching social studies and coaching cheerleading in Houston, Texas.  A native of Holland, Michigan, Vanderlaan has been involved in cheerleading since 1995. 

Madonna will be the sixth school sponsoring the sport next year, joining Aquinas, Concordia, Indiana Tech, Lourdes, and Siena Heights.
