Manchester United maintained their impressive run under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after his arrival last month.

The Red Devils secured a 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Wembley Stadium courtesy of Marcus Rashford's 44th minute strike after receiving a superb pass from Paul Pogba.

They have now leveled up on points with Arsenal who suffered 1-0 defeat to West Ham United at London Stadium.

Meanwhile, United's victory would not have been possible without David De Gea's stunning performance.

The Spaniard's superb display that stood out among all the players in the pitch as the Spaniard produced incredible saves to put United in the game.

Statistically, De Gea denied Spurs a staggering eleven golden goalscoring chances in the second half, making superb saves to deny the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Toby Alderweireld.

His outstanding performance between the sticks saw football fans, pundits and even rival players take to social media to praise the shot-stopper.

Watford keeper, Ben Foster, was among the unlikely Premier League players who lauded De Gea's performance, acknowledging the Spaniard's exceptional goalkeeping skills.

"I see a lot of people saying all De Gea saves were straight at him, please factor in that the guy has some mad sense to know where to be at just the right time, you can’t teach that. Proper goally," Foster, who played 23 games for United posted on Twitter.

Meanwhile, a moment caught on camera by Sky Sports after the game nearly summed up what fans thought of De Gea's performance as Juan Mata was seen in complete disbelief.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United recorded their sixth consecutive victory following a 1-0 win over Tottenham at the Wembley Stadium.

Marcus Rashford scored the only goals of the match as United in the first half as United are now level on points with Arsenal in fifth on the log.

The much anticipated match between the two sides did not seem as electrifying as expected but there were all of tactical disciplines.
