Open letter to Governor Ikpeazu: Our roads are posing a grave danger (photos)
A citizen of Abia atstae has written an open letter to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to call his attention to the danger the roads in the state pose especially the one at Umuokogbue.
In the open letter sent to Legit.ng, the writer, Ottah Samuel Chukwuka, complained that the road have been affected by erosion and could cause accident.

He also pointed out that the bad road has also been a spot for robbery and called on the governor to fix the road.

Your Excellency Sir,
I picked this medium of open letter to reach out to you because of the great danger posed by our roads to the great people of Isuikwuato at large.
It’s no longer new to the table of how bad our roads have been for years without any serious effort on part of the government to tackle it over the years.
Your Excellency, I had tears running down my eyes as i had to pass through such a terrible Road to attend my kid sisters traditional marriage at my home town Umuokogbue. I had my heart to my hand and my feet shivering with fear; the road is so bad that erosion has divided it into two on two critical locations and has become a point for theft and several accidents.

More importantly is the fact that this road leads to Ohafia and several other places of great economic importance to the state my State.
Sir, I humbly plead that you use your honorable Position given you by God to ensure that a New Road be Constructed that will be used in place of this one as it has gone beyond amendment as shown by the Images above.
This requires Immediate action on your part sir, and If anything is to be done its now and Fast.
Meanwhile, residents of Lafenwa community in Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun state, have cried out over the alleged neglect of the area by Governor Ibikunle Amosun-led administration.
The investigation by Legit.ng regional reporter, Subair Mohammed, revealed that the community has almost 600,000 inhabitants mainly the Awori people who are the earliest inhabitants of the area.
