Alicia Keys is hosting the Grammys
At least one awards show isn't having a host problem.
After winning 15 Grammys over the years, Alicia Keys has been tapped to host the 2019 awards on Feb. 11. She made the big reveal in a 9-minute video Tuesday, showing the adorable moment Keys found out she was hosting.
In the video, Keys films herself calling her mom and waking up her husband to tell them she's hosting. Her kids weren't entirely impressed. We then get to see her try on some downright hideous outfits, including one she says "look[s] like a loofah," before deciding on the official look she debuted below.

The Recording Academy recently made a push to diversify its ranks, inviting 900 women or people of color to vote on this year's winners. That message is reflected in Keys' announcement, when she mentions she's excited to "give the light back" to the awards show, especially to "all the young women that are nominated."
