Striking teachers in Reseda, California, on january 14 received musical support from student Michael Lum, who played guitar and sang Tear the Fascists Down by Woody Guthrie outside Cleveland High School as teachers picketed. “There were dozens of students joining us on the picket line despite the weather, bringing their energy and creativity with them,” said Jessica Peroff, who shot this video. Teachers from Los Angeles Unified School District began a strike on Monday, the first in nearly 30 years.
