[Track & Field] DSU returns back to Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex Friday for SDSU D2 Open

The Dakota State University indoor track & field teams head back to Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex (1447 Jackrabbit Ave.) for the second time this season. The Trojans compete in the South Dakota State D2 Open on Friday afternoon in Brookings, S.D. The first evens is set for 1:30 p.m. with the women's weight throw and men's shot put, while the running events start at 2 p.m. with the men's 60-meter hurdles qualifying event. There will be a live result link via through Dakota Timing.
The Trojans returned back to action after taking a Christmas break on Jan. 11. DSU competed in the NCAA Division II Minnesota State-Mankato Invitational at Myers Fieldhouse, with two Trojans claiming the individual titles at the meet. The Trojans finished fourth as a time in both women's and men's divisions, featuring NCAA Division II schools.
DSU is slated to return back to Brookings for the SDSU Classic on Feb. 8-9, the North Star Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field conference championships on Feb. 16 and the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships on Feb. 28-March 2.
Next Up: Dakota State makes their second trip back to Myers Fieldhouse for the Minnesota State-Mankato Open. The two-day event kicks off on Jan. 25 and continues through Jan. 26.
