Flight attendants among those arrested in $20m drug bust
Eight people have been arrested in Melbourne for their alleged involvement in a highly organised Vietnamese crime ring. The syndicate is allegedly responsible for the importation and trafficking of $20 million worth of high grade heroin and methylamphetamine into Australia from Malaysia. The Australian Federal Police allege cabin crew from an international commercial airline were responsible for importing the drugs into Melbourne and Sydney. The syndicate has been operating for years, and police say they've made more than twenty successful smuggling runs to Australia. The investigation is ongoing. Image: News Corp Australia
