This was far from a vintage Lightning performance from a possession standpoint, only managing 8 shots on goal in the final 40 minutes of the contest. Didn't matter. For the second time this season Vasilevskiy followed up a loss with a shutout that annihilated any chance of a losing streak.
Mathieu Joseph had 2 penalty minutes and 6 hits in 9:21.
