- PDP's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has revealed what he will embark on in the first six months of his administration, if he is elected as president
- Atiku said that he will embark on nationwide restructuring, if he eventually wins the forthcoming presidential election
- He also said that he would give 40% appointment to youths and 30% to women in his government if he emerges victorious at the poll
Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)'s presidential candidate, has said that he is passionate about the restructuring of Nigeria, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

Abubakar made the remarks during his presidential campaign on Tuesday, January 15, in Osogbo. He said he would start the process of restructuring in six months of his administration, if elected.
”You know I have always stood for restructuring and I promise that I will start the process in six month, if elected and I mean it,” he said.
The PDP presidential candidate also said he would give 40% appointment to youths and 30 percent to women in his government.
Urging the people of the state to vote for him and other PDP candidates, Abubakar also appealed to them to protect their votes.
”I appeal to you to vote for PDP from top to the bottom and your vote for the party means job, security and improved economy,” he said.
Also speaking, Abubakar’s wife, Titi Abubakar, said a vote for her husband would end suffering in the country.
She urged the electorate to vote for her husband and other PDP candidates, adding that her husband would provide jobs, empower women and end poverty.
The national chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus, the PDP national chairman appealed to INEC and security operatives to be neutral during the election.
Secondus also urged the new acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammad Abubakar, to be fair to all Nigerians. He appealed to the electorate to vote for Abubakar and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.

The Osun PDP chairman, Soji Adagunodo, said the electorate in the state would give 80% of their votes to Abubakar and other PDP candidates in the elections.
Olagunsoye Oyinlola, the chairman of Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) steering Committee, said Abubakar would fulfill all his electoral promises, if elected.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Atiku on Monday, January 14 stormed Ekiti state with other leaders of the party in continuation of his campaign throughout Nigeria.
Lere Olayinka, the director of media and publicity of the Atiku/Obi PDP campaign council in Ekiti, said in a statement issued in on Saturday, January 12, made available to Legit.ng that the presidential campaign train will get to Ikere-Ekiti before moving to Ado Ekiti, to visit traditional rulers at the palace of the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe.
