Lorry Saved From Driving Off 1,000ft Cliff By Tree

This is the incredible moment a motorist cheats death thanks to a tree which prevents him from shooting off a 1,000-foot-high cliff on a sharp mountain bend.

The man was driving his small lorry around a corner on a mountain road in the Spanish Canary Island of Gran Canaria at speed when the vehicle apparently flipped over.

Dashcam footage filmed by a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction shows the lorry overturn and appear to begin to roll over the top of the roadside crash barrier.
