An independent audit has cleared the Turnbull government of any wrongdoing related to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation fund. The opposition has had their refund application declined, after asking for a partial refund of the money the former government granted. Former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull announced a $443 million grant to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation last year.
