Inquest told of Scottish base-jumper's fatal error in the Dolomites
A SCOTS base-jumper died from “unsurvivable injuries” after he failed to clear a cliff ledge on a 8,500ft Italian mountain, an inquest has heard. Wingsuit thrillseeker Robert Haggarty, originally from Dumfries but living in Andover, Hampshire, died from multiple head and chest injuries following the accident.
