January 15 – Chinese striker Yu Dabao has made AFC Asian Cup history by scoring the fastest goal-ever in the history of the continental tournament by a substitute.
China is leading Group C in the UAE 2019 Asian Cup and are meeting South Korea today in a decisive group encounter.
Dabao, 30 years-old, came off the bench against the Philippines to replace Gao Lin after 79 minutes.
