Man flies off the handle after missing flight - gets fined for insulting policemen
An Italian man is €1,000 out of pocket after having threatened and insulted a police inspector and a sergeant.
Davide Demuro, a 39-year-old Sicilian, got into an argument at the airport on Tuesday after arriving late and finding his boarding gate closed, thus missing a flight. On Wednesday he admitted the charges brought against him in court and was sentenced to a three-month prison term suspended for a year and a fine of €1000.
