Sylvester Okonkwo, the Anambra central senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says voting the party and President Muhammadu Buhari remains the best option for the people of south east.
Okonkwo said in spite of the propaganda and lies by opposition parties about APC, the party remained the best option for the socio-economic development of the region.

According to him, the Igbo elite lied when they said APC is a northern party without realising that the party is their easiest step towards producing the next president in Nigeria.
“The Igbos should naturally be the people in the vanguard of Buhari’s campaign so that they become president after him.
“Our regional interest is in voting Buhari, who had in the past three years started actual construction of the second Niger Bridge with the release of N33 billion which the PDP government did not do in the past 16 years.
“It is on record that Buhari has completed the Zik Mausoleum while construction work on portions of federal roads are ongoing in the zone; yet, this is the same man who does not love the Igbos,” he said.

"When Buhari wins on February 16, the next thing you will hear is that APC rigged the election.
