China’s death sentence for Canadian was ‘politically motivated,’ U.S. says

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland spoke Tuesday and "expressed their concerns about the arbitrary detentions and politically motivated sentencing of Canadian nationals."
