With the US government shutdown entering its 26th day, thousands of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) employees are failing to show up to work. As a result, flying is “less safe today than it was a month ago,” a top member of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association said.
