[Men's Track and Field] Farris, Lawson round out Garnett's track and field staff
Every great head coach knows the team around them is what makes them great and it starts with the staff. Luke Garnett understands that and one of his first tasks when he became full time coach at Georgetown College was to solidify those around him with track and field.
Garnett knows his strengths and with the addition of Larmont Lawson and the retention of Daniel Farris, he feels great about the direction of the Tiger programs.
Lawson, also known as Coach Mont, is focused on the sprinters, jumpers and hurdlers. This is his first college coaching position.
"It only took me three minutes into our conversation before I knew how much he really cares to make this program better," Garnett said. "He's new at this level, but his record speaks for itself as he has excelled at everything he decides to do."
