Report: An unusual solution to Tottenham’s striker woes
Tottenham Hotspur have been slapped in the face by one hell of a dilemma this month, as Harry Kane fell foul to yet another ankle injury last weekend.
The star striker felt the full force of a Phil Jones challenge, before hobbling off the field at full time.
Kane will not be out injured until early March, with Heung Min Son away on international duty, and Lucas Moura nursing a knock of his own.
Tottenham must now make do with Fernando Llorente, and any academy players they may want to call up, unless they delve into the transfer market.
It seems unlikely that Spurs will splash the cash in January, but a loan move could be a solution to suit all parties.
