Report tips former Man Utd goal machine to solve Tottenham’s striker crisis

Tottenham have approached former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi over a possible short-term deal, according to reports in Italy.

Rossi is currently without a club but has been training with United to build fitness following an invite from his ex-teammate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The 31-year-old isn’t expected to stick around at Old Trafford as he seeks a new employer – and surprise reports suggest he could end up at Spurs.

Italian outlet Tuttosport (via Sport Witness) claims Tottenham have made contact with Rossi, and the Londoners are said to be considering offering the striker a pay-as-you-play deal.
