VYSA Votes to Change Policy on Metro Level Soccer

VYSA Club Presidents were notified this morning that The VYSA Board of Directors unanimously approved, aside from two abstentions, a motion at our Board meeting on Monday, January 14th to change how the District will affiliate teams into the BCCSL Metro division.

BC Soccer provides three models for Districts to choose from. VYSA had been operating under the Single-Club Based Model with Vancouver FC (VFC) designated as the only club that could enter teams into the Metro division. The Board voted to change this to the Multi-Club Based model used by the majority of the other seven Districts.
