Play Ball! It’s almost time! Navarro Softball and Baseball have been preparing for their 2019 regular seasons, and their openers are just days away. Bulldog Softball makes its official debut Friday, January 25, when it plays in Galveston College’s two-day Island Invitational at The Lassie League Complex. The Bulldogs are scheduled to play five games in two days. Navarro’s Friday schedule includes games with Chipola College at 9 am, Lake Land College, Ill., at 1 pm, and the University of Houston-Victoria at 5 pm. On Saturday January 26, NC is set to face Snead State, Al., at 11 am and LSU-Eunice at 3 pm. Navarro’s home-opening doubleheader is scheduled at 1 pm Wednesday, January 30, against Western Texas College. Meanwhile, Bulldog Baseball opens its season at Temple College against the Leopards with a 2 pm Friday single game. Then, the teams will conclude a three-game, non-conference series with a noon doubleheader at Graham Field on Saturday, Feb. 2.
