Communities to host events honoring Martin Luther King Jr.

WESTLAND, Mich. (AP) - Two Detroit-area communities will hold annual walks and ceremonies honoring civil rights icon the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

Westland's Freedom walk will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at the city's public library. Participants are asked to gather at 8:30 a.m. at Westland City Hall.
