Native American Mocked by Kentucky High School Students in D.C. is Military Veteran Nathan Phillips
Shocking videos have emerged that appear to show Kentucky high school students mocking participants of the Indigenous Peoples March in Washington D.C. on Friday—including a widely respected elder from Omaha who served in Vietnam.
The videos, which have since gone viral on social media, seem to show Covington Catholic High School students surrounding a group of marchers. The students shout and jump as marchers start playing music, footage appears to show. WHAS 11-ABC, which is based in Kentucky, identified these teens as students of Covington, an all-boys school in the city of Park Hills.
WHAS 11-ABC reported that the students were in Washington D.C. for the March for Life, a yearly anti-abortion rally. March for Life happened to take place on the same day as the Indigenous Peoples March.
