[Men's Indoor Track & Field] Teammates finish 1-2 in shot, weight to lead ONU

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – If ever there were two teammates that can challenge each other to become better, it would be Bryce Vollrath (JR/Peoria, Ill.) and Andrew Franklin (SR/Mahomet, Ill.). The day in and day out head-to-head battle paid off with 1-2 finishes in the shot put and the weight throw to lead the Olivet Nazarene University men's track and field team on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the 7th Annual NAIA vs. NCAA Challenge.  Vollrath captured the weight throw, Franklin the shot put, but most importantly all four throws were automatic qualifying marks for the chance to complete at the NAIA Indoor National Championships.
