Anyone who needs reassurance that Toledo youth are smart, polite, and ready to work, that Toledo Public Schools provide quality education, and that Toledo area employers are committed to community development should have been at Seagate Centre this week. TPS’s Career Expo brought 8th and 12th graders from all the district’s schools to learn about career options and to interact with future employers. Many students brought professional-quality resumes, and all brought good questions, readiness to participate, and enthusiasm. Thank you to TPS staff and local supporters for this uplifting, networking event.
