Nigerian cities to experience sunny, hazy, partly cloudy weather on Tuesday, January 22
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny, hazy and partly cloudy weather conditions over most parts of the country, with prospects of thunderstorms over parts of southern states on Tuesday.

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny, hazy and partly cloudy weather conditions over most parts of the country, with prospects of thunderstorms over parts of southern states on Tuesday, January 22.
NiMet’s Weather Outlook on Monday, January 21, in Abuja, predicted partly cloudy to cloudy conditions over the central cities with day and night temperatures of 32 to 37 and 17 to 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
It also predicted chances of localised thunderstorms over southern Abuja, Lokoja and Lafia in the afternoon and evening.

The agency predicted that the northern states would experience sunny and hazy conditions with day and night temperatures in the ranges of 33 to 37 and 13 to 18 degrees Celsius respectively.
According to NiMet, Southern States would experience partly cloudy morning with chances of localised thunderstorms over Lagos, Ado-Ekiti and Oshogbo during the morning hours.
Later in the day, localised thunderstorms are expected to prevail over the coastal belt, it said.
It, however, said inland cities were likely to experience partly cloudy to cloudy conditions during the afternoon and evening with day and night temperatures of 33 to 37 and 22 to 25 degrees Celsius respectively.

“Sunny and hazy conditions are expected to prevail over the northern cities with chances of localised activities over some part of the central and southern parts of the country within the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted.
