“Arsenal would be a dream” – 24-year-old star desperate to join boyhood club Arsenal
According to quotes in L’Equipe via the Mirror, on-loan Olympiacos centre-back Bjorn Engels has revealed he wants to play in the Premier League and his dream is to join Arsenal.
Engels was born in Belgian and was a product of the Club Brugge youth system before joining Olympiacos in the summer of 2017 and despite making 24 appearances for the Greek giants, he was sent out on loan to Reims last summer.
The 24-year-old has impressed in France as he’s been ever present in Ligue 1 since moving to Reims in August and has helped his club concede just 20 goals in 21 games so far – which is the fourth best defensive record in the entire division.
