Trump Stared At Walls, Wandered Out Of Room While Ryan Explained Health Care

In excerpts from former communications staffer Cliff Sims’ new White House exposé, President Donald Trump is at times irate, paranoid and petty. And as seen in one episode with former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), he could be rudely disinterested.

According to passages obtained by the Washington Post, Ryan at one point was standing in the Oval Office to explain the Republican healthcare plan to Trump.

While Ryan was talking, Trump wandered around, staring out windows and at walls and sipping his Diet Coke. He eventually wandered out of the room and switched on the TV in his private dining room, forcing Vice President Mike Pence to jog out and fetch him back.
