EasyJet CEO Johan Lundgren announced on 22 January that the low-cost airline lost GBP15 million (USD19.37 million) from the recent disruption at Gatwick Airport, when multiple alleged unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sightings caused all flights to be grounded in the period 19–21 December 2018.
