Dele Alli sends message to supporters after huge injury blow
Tottenham confirmed that Dele Alli will be out of action until March after scans showed that the midfielder had strained his hamstring in the game against Fulham.
Dele, who scored Tottenham’s equaliser at Craven Cottage had to come off towards the end of the game after he felt his hamstring after stretching for the ball under pressure from Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon.
Although Pochettino admitted after the game that the injury doesn’t look good, Spurs fans were hoping that Alli was substituted just as a precaution. However, it has been confirmed today that the midfielder is likely to miss up to ten matches including the Carabao Cup final (if Spurs get there) and the Champions League round of 16 ties against Dortmund.
