Thousands of Australians are turning out at events across the country to mark Australia Day with Prime Minister Scott Morrison attending a citizenship ceremony in Canberra where he granted citizenship to 28 new Australians. Over 16,000 migrant residents will take citizenship pledges, a 35 percent increase on last year. In Sydney, The annual 10k Wheelchair Race is underway with competitors racing through the streets of the CBD.
