NBA asks Steph Curry to join All-Star three-point contest in Charlotte
The greatest shooter alive has the opportunity to put on a show in the city he grew up in.
The NBA All-Star festivities are right around the corner. The league is looking to use All-Star weekend to show off it’s brightest stars in Charlotte, North Carolina. That’s probably why they made the no-brainer decision to request Charlotte native, Golden State Warrior, and All-Star game starter Stephen Curry’s presence in the hallowed three-point shooting contest.

Curry has quickly established himself in the highest pantheon of shooters, climbing into third all-time in made three-pointers earlier this season. He’s shooting a scorching 44% from beyond the arc this year and a ridiculous 43% for his career.
He’s also no stranger to the three-point competition, participating five times and winning the contest in 2014-2015.
While Steph hasn’t officially agreed to join the fun this time, his brother Seth has already thrown his hat in the ring and will enter the contest.
Funny enough, their father and Charlotte Hornets hero Dell Curry participated in the contest twice in the early 1990’s. The crowd would be electric in their support for the Curry boys, and we know Steph loves to put on a show for an adoring audience!
