Flint Firebirds 7 @ Kitchener Rangers 2
C/W Alexey Lipanov, KIT: 0-1-1, -2, 2 PIM, 1 SOG, 10/15 FO
Season Totals: 39 GP, 8-11-19, -28, 12 PIM

Yikes. Flint came into the game with eight wins - by far the worst in the league - yet built a 7-0 lead in Kitchener on their way to a 7-2 win against the Rangers. Kitchener was coming off a 5-3 win over Owen Sound. These types of losses during a down year sometimes mean another nail in the coach’s coffin.
