According to Muhammad in sahih (sound) hadith, a rock runs off with the clothing of Moses and a naked Moses chases after it, striking the running rock with a stone while shouting "O Stone, my clothes! O stone, my clothes!" Apparently, what inspired Muhammad with such a tale comes from the "before Scriptures" (Bible).
