[Women's Basketball] V-Hawks Fight off Trojans for First Conference Win

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo Women's Basketball earned the first conference win of the season by defeating Dakota State University, 67-61, at R.W. Beggs Senior Gymnasium on Friday. For the seventh time since 2007, two V-Hawks recorded double-doubles in the same game. Tied heading into the final quarter, Viterbo broke away during the final period and closed out the game on the free throw line.

Viterbo improved to 8-13 overall and 1-7 in conference play. Dakota State fell to 3-18 on the season and 2-6 in North Star Athletic Association play.
