The DOCG bottlings are a little creamier, with a more pronounced palate weight. Stylistically, they also tend to have less residual sugar. While the Dry and Extra Dry style has come to characterize Prosecco, it is far more sophisticated and nuanced when bottled as a Brut or Extra Brut.
