The two sanctioned tnakers continue to burn in occupied Crimea.

Both tankers were included in the US sanctions list last year for supplying gas to Assad's regime in Syria. The tankers with turned off automatic identification system were transferring Russian gas from one to the other in the open sea when explosion happened. These tankers have been involved in an elaborate Russian fuel smuggling operation to smuggle fuel to rogue nations.
