android app for urban bicycling

so i was riding with the hooligans of critic mass...and using Google Map as backup just in case...bec i am unfamiliar with the roads and we werer riding in thru ghetto land.

i pulled the phone out but GM didnt work because i have no data plan. and apparently Google will delete its maps in yur...
