Premier orders plan to create working group ‘to coordinate relations with church'

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s has ordered a plan for creating a special working group to coordinate the relations between the Government and the Armenian Apostolic Church.

In an annex enclosed to the decision, the premier also proposes the structure of the new body. The group will be composed of the Chief of the Prime Ministers staff, deputy ministers, the Deputy Chief of the Police, the Deputy Head of the State Revenue Committee and senior clergymen.

The decision was issued in accordance with the law of the Republic of Armenia “On the Structure of the Government”.
