[Women's Lacrosse] Bees picked third in KCAC women's lacrosse preseason poll

Entering just its second season of varsity play, St. Ambrose was voted third in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) women's lacrosse preseason poll.

The Bees earned 17 points in the poll. Benedictine received four first-place votes and 24 total points to top the poll while Ottawa (Kan.) grabbed the other two first-place selections and 19 total points. Missouri Valley, St. Mary and Clarke round out the rest of the conference.

SAU finished 9-5 overall and 4-3 in the KCAC and reached the semifinals of the conference tournament a year ago. The Bees will be led by returners Allie Ruggiero, Katie Baranski and McKenna Curzon.
