Mauricio Pochettino has now been in charge of Tottenham Hotspur for around four and a half years, and has made some fantastic progress in that time.
Four years is a short time-frame in terms of football, but Poch has managed to transform Spurs from a side on the fringes of Champions League football, to regulars among Europe’s elite.
Tottenham have now qualified for the tournament for three years in a row, and look likely to make it a fourth this season.
Before that, Spurs had only tasted Champions League once in the past 22 years, a fantastic run to the quarter-finals under Harry Redknapp.
Pochettino’s next plan will be to bridge the gap between a top four finish and a Premier League trophy, but this may take time.
