Vermont lawmakers seek abortion protections

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - Vermont lawmakers have proposed legislation that would make abortion a right and are expected to introduce a constitutional amendment within the week that would do the same in the event that the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.
