Queensland MP Jason Costigan has been expelled from the LNP on Friday over allegations he harassed an 18-year-old girl while on holiday. LNP leader Deb Frecklington says Mr Costigan does not ‘deserve to represent the people of Whitsunday’ after being accused of harassment. Ms Frecklington has called on Mr Costigan ‘to do the right thing and resign’, saying ‘he’s disgraced the office and he should go now’. Police are investigating the allegations made against Mr Costigan, who has denied any wrongdoing. Image: News Corp Australia
