'Vampire killer' who cut up friend's body, drank blood found faking as doctor

In August 2000 Kondrashin was confined to a psychiatric hospital after being diagnosed with homicidal schizophrenia and ruled to be incapable of understanding his actions, a local newspaper reported at the time.
