A former U.S. Army staff sergeant who lives in Minot, Clint Romesha received the medal from President Obama during a ceremony in the White House on Feb. 11, 2013, for his actions during the 14-hour firefight when Taliban insurgents attacked the outpost in Afghanistan in October 2009.
