EAEU Intergovernmental Council to hold spring session in Yerevan
The Intergovernmental Council of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has agreed to conduct its spring session in Armenia’s capital.
The plan was announced by Kyrgyz Prime Minister Muhammetkaliy Abulgaziyev at the regular session in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Friday.
“At the proposal of the Armenian side, we plan to once again meet in the sunny city. And taking this pleasant opportunity I will present a suggestion to hold the next session of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council after Yerevan in our country in Cholpon-Ata city in August”, ARMENPRESS quotes him as saying.
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan represented Armenia at the interstate event which addressed the mutual trade issues and the macro-economic situation in the member states. The participants considered the ongoing free trade agreement talks, as well as the Union’s digital agenda.
